Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the Daily2k platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our website and mobile application.

Daily2k grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use our platform for lawful purposes
• Create an account as a client or artisan
• Post and respond to job listings
• Communicate with other users through our messaging system

This license is personal to you and is not transferable. You may not use our platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

All users must:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Not engage in illegal activities
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and notifying us of any unauthorized access.

Clients must:

• Provide clear and accurate job descriptions
• Offer fair compensation for services requested
• Communicate respectfully and timely with artisans
• Approve or reject completed work within a reasonable timeframe
• Release payment only after confirming satisfactory completion
• Rate artisans honestly based on actual work quality
• Not cancel jobs without valid reason
• Respect agreed-upon timelines and deadlines

Artisans must:

• Provide accurate qualifications and experience information
• Submit honest and competitive quotes
• Communicate professionally and promptly with clients
• Complete work according to agreed-upon specifications
• Meet agreed timelines and deadlines
• Deliver quality work that meets industry standards
• Not demand payment outside the platform
• Not bypass the platform to conduct transactions

Daily2k uses an escrow system to protect both parties:

• Client deposits payment into escrow when hiring an artisan
• Funds are held securely until work is completed
• Client approves or requests modifications to completed work
• Upon approval, payment is released to the artisan
• Daily2k charges a 10% platform fee on completed jobs
• Artisans receive 90% of the agreed price

All payments must be made through the platform. Payments made outside the platform are not protected by our escrow system.

In case of disputes between clients and artisans:

• Both parties must first attempt to resolve through direct communication
• If unresolved after 48 hours, either party may request mediation
• Daily2k support team will review the case and communications
• We will make a decision based on evidence and platform policies
• Decisions are final and binding

Disputes must be reported within 14 days of job completion. Claims reported after this period will not be considered.

All content on our platform, including logos, designs, and text, is the intellectual property of Daily2k or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute this content without permission.

Content you post (photos, descriptions, messages) remains your property, but you grant Daily2k a non-exclusive license to use it for platform operations and improvement.

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Post adult content, violence, or hate speech
• Phish or attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Engage in fraud, scams, or deception
• Manipulate ratings or reviews
• Attempt to manipulate our algorithms or systems
• Share others' private information without consent

Daily2k may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these terms and conditions
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Have multiple complaints from other users
• Fail verification requirements
• Do not use the account for 12 months

Suspended or terminated accounts may not re-register. We will not refund any funds in your account upon termination.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAILY2K SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Disputes between users (clients and artisans)
• Quality of work performed by artisans
• Service interruptions or platform downtime
• Third-party actions or conduct

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Any defects will be corrected
• Artisans will meet all professional standards
• All users are trustworthy or reliable

You use our platform at your own risk. We recommend conducting due diligence on artisans before hiring.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daily2k, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these terms
• Your use of our platform
• Your content or communications
• Your disputes with other users

Users may rate and review other users based on their experience. Ratings must be:

• Honest and based on actual experience
• Free from false or misleading information
• Respectful and non-abusive
• Not a violation of others' privacy or rights

We reserve the right to remove ratings or reviews that violate these policies. Users who manipulate ratings may face account suspension.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid.

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Daily2k regarding your use of our platform. This agreement supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.

Daily2k may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
